Recently I have been seeing a lot of ‘How can I get a free website?’ and how to make a website on the cheap. Well you know the old saying, ‘You get what you pay for?’, it applies to websites too.
If someone tells you it can be done for free or less than a few hundred dollars there are three possibilities:
- They are lying to get a sale and then will keep bumping up the price, or deliver crap.
- You will be using a free cms like WordPress and a website theme.
- You have a super nice web designer/developer friend that is under paying themselves.

This dingbat font is excellent. It has been added to my shopping list—I cannot wait to use them when designing my next website.
http://www.typetester.org/ is a very useful tool for comparing fonts. Very, very useful.
