all of the wonderful things on the internet

This is hilarious, I have been laughing for the past 20 minutes reading the comics on this site, especially this one.
http://unhappyhipsters.com/ Bah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! We hipsters are the most fun to make fun of, the easiest to laugh at. No one ever admits they are one, even in their grandpa sweaters and deep-vs on a fixie.
I wish her website had more images, her comic book illustrated/painterly style is beautiful. I don’t share her enthusiasm for Buffy, but I am a fan of Joss Whedon’s Firefly and it looks like she’s working on the comic version of that.
They way she illustrates makes the characters seem more real, but still super and other worldly.
No, it is not online, at least legally anywhere. Even all the videos I tried to find of the opening credits have been pulled down by Warner Bros. But oh well. Go see it, don’t bring your kids.
I loved everything about it, the opening credits, the soundtrack, the costumes and sets, the perfect charachters - who are only perfect because they are flawed and not shiny, happy, primary coloured heros - everything.
On my way out there were some kids in front of us geeking out because they had read the comic books, which probably topped of the experience. I will read the comics, should have read them long ago.
